Preparation
All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking material. Rub down previously painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Prime bare wood with . No primer or undercoat is required on previously painted surfaces, prepare as normal and apply direct; however, for strong colour changes we recommend the Johnstone’s Trade Aqua Guard Primer Undercoat in the final colour of choice. Apply one full coat of Johnstone’s Aqua Guard Primer Undercoat to all correctly prepared surfaces before application of Johnstone’s Trade Aqua Guard.
Application
Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results
- Stir thoroughly before use to ensure the paint is completely mixed
- Johnstone's Trade Aqua Guard paint can be applied by brush or roller
- Ensure good ventilation during application and drying
Always follow manufacturer's instructions found on the tin
Aftercare & Storage
Store the paint in dry conditions and protect from extremes of temperature.
After use firmly secure the lid and store in a secure upright position.
