Original vintage 1950s pink silk dress with collar and belt set.

This elegant dress is designed with a sweeping boat neckline, three quarter length sleeves and a fitted bodice. Nipped in at the waist by the belt, the skirt is pencil cut with a petal top layer curved at the them. 
A large separate feature collar/ capelet in matching pink silk, sits on the the shoulders and there is the option of a slim or wide matching silk belt to choose from on different occasions. 
Fully lined in silk. 

A beautiful and versatile dress, style with black accessories, a large tilt hat for events or with pinks, reds or whites worn as a summer or evening dress without the collar. 

Fabric: Light woven dupion with metallic stripe. Polyester faux silk

Condition: good wearable condition, light wear overall. Normal imperfections with slub of dupion fabric, light wear to belts and a very faint mark on bodice. No significant damage of note. Dry Cleaned, Steamed and Ready to Wear.
As with most vintage items, this dress has been previously worn and is over 50 years old.
